About Cameron Atlas

How a boy from outback Australia turned pain into purpose and found his true calling…

It’s 2002 and I’ve just finished recording my first music demo using my high school’s recording equipment. With a dream of making it big, I move to the city after living on a farm in outback Australia for the first 18 years of my life.
I keep writing but struggle to find my place. Life is a lot harder than I thought it would be. Deep down, I feel lost, unsure of where I’m heading or if I’m truly living the life I want.

Then, one night, everything changed.

A young boy across the road from where I was living tragically took his own life. I was the first person to arrive after his mother found him. Over the next few hours, I witnessed the absolute devastation of a family. That moment struck me to my core. It made me realize how many people are struggling silently.

That experience ignited something in me… a deep desire to help people navigate their greatest challenges.

I searched and searched until I finally stumbled upon the transformative power of coaching. I immersed myself, studying under some of the best in the industry and over the next few years, it paved the way to coaching many Entrepreneurs, CEOs and Members of Family Offices, helping them make life-altering decisions, understand their own purpose, and overcome the challenges they face in their personal and professional lives.

But something was still missing

In 2015, I found myself at another crossroads, one that would alter the course of my life forever. My long-term relationship ended, and while the heartbreak was intense, what was even more confronting was the realization that my life wasn’t where I wanted it to be.

I had built a career coaching top leaders in peak performance, but inside, I was struggling. I was going through the motions, feeling unfulfilled, disconnected from my own purpose.

I had some big decisions to make, and one of them completely changed the trajectory of my life.

It was just a crazy idea at the time; traveling the world, living in homes with pianos in them while I continued coaching leaders on how to achieve their next level of excellence.

I sold everything I owned, left my home in Australia and stepped straight into the unknown.

Just two years earlier, I’d never stepped foot outside of the country. The uncertainty was terrifying and exhilerating at the same time.

There were moments of deep doubt, frustration, and loneliness, where I wondered if I had made the right choice. But, I pushed forward.

Each new location, each new home, brought its own set of challenges and surprises. Some of the pianos were incredible to play on, others were completely out of tune.

From the depths of jungles to the heights of mountain tops, from bustling cities to tranquil countrysides, life unfolded in ways I could never have imagined. Each step, each encounter, turned the ordinary into something extraordinary.

Six months in, as I lay on my bed in an apartment in Argentina, a question hit me: “What haven’t you done yet that you wish you had?”

My answer came without hesitation:
“Give a talk with a grand piano on stage.”

This had been a dream of mine for years, blending insights on human behavior with music that I had written about courage, purpose, and overcoming adversity.
A couple of years earlier, I’d been booked to deliver one of these talks in Australia, but two days before the event was due to begin, the whole conference was canceled. I was crushed.
But that question in Argentina reignited something in me.

I realized that if I really wanted it, it was up to
me to make it happen.

I relentlessly reached out to anyone who would listen, sharing over and over again, the vision of what I wanted
to create.

After countless conversations, someone gave me a shot: two events on the same day, 700 people at each, and the opportunity to deliver the opening talk at one and the closing talk at the other.

There I was, in front of hundreds of people, grand piano on stage, and as I walked off after the second event, I thought to myself, “Alright Cam, if that’s possible, I wonder what else is.”

That shift in belief launched an entirely new chapter of my life.

It resulted in me delivering a TEDx talk in Rome, coaching incredible leaders, becoming a National Geographic Explorer, and delivering these multi-sensory experiences to audiences all over the world.

Maybe most beautifully, though, I met the love of my life.

What I’ve learned from this journey is simple yet profound; the decisions we make today shape who we become tomorrow.

The power to transform your life and business lies in the decisions you make and actions you take. It’s about having the courage to take bold risks, the clarity to act with purpose, and the willingness to embrace the discomfort that comes with growth.

When you do, the possibilities are endless.
